![]() Tried serving up the files with Plex,Tversity, and PS3 Media Server, same result For reference it's a brand new 500GB Super-Slim The N100 uses DLNA and can stream all videos I point it to just fine.Īny thoughts on what could cause this when I've effectively now eliminated video format, network, and source PC?Įdit: I have also tried the following suggestions from below: Part of the PS3 upside was that it could replace the N100 with a similar product (nicer interface) and replace my bluray player as well. The strange thing is that I also own a Sony N100 Network Video player that I had been using for this same purpose. I also took the resolution all the way down to 240p with the same basic result. I encoded a movie to divx format with the same result. From there it's a couple seconds of video of a single frame every 30 seconds in extreme slo-mo. ![]() I can even load videos but they generally take 20 seconds to load and then freeze for another 30 seconds on the first frame. I can also see my computer in the PS3 interface and browse videos. ![]() I can load any my bluray collection that I've ripped onto my desktop (and encoded into the PS3 friendly Mpeg4/AAC format) onto a flash drive and plug it in, they all play no problem. ![]() This is all to say I just last week bought a Playstation 3 and am having some issues getting DLNA to work. The central issue is video but since it's on a console and may very well involve network issues it's a bit of a tweener.Īnyway, I buy a console or two per generation and then catch up with the one I didn't buy at the end of it's life when games are cheap and the consensus is already in on which games are worthwhile. Not totally sure if this is the right forum. ![]()
